The game of Double Attack Blackjack is a variation of the game of Blackjack that allows the player the opportunity to make an additional wager after seeing the dealers up card. Double Attack Blackjack is played using six or eight decks of playing cards with the 4 tens of each suit removed each deck (face cards are left in). To start the game, each player must make an initial Blackjack wager by placing chips in the area marked BET. The dealer will deal a card to himself/herself face up and offer the players the opportunity to make an additional wager in the area marked Double Attack up to the amount of the player's initial wager. Players may surrender on any number of cards including after hitting, splitting and doubling down. Players may double down on both bets on two (2) or more cards. Players that split must equal the amount wagered on the initial and, if applicable, the Double Attack bet. All winning initial and Double Attack wagers are paid at odds of 1 to 1. Blackjack pays even money. Double Attack can be learned in minutes by both players and dealers. However, in order to make the game as easy to learn as possible and to ensure maximum player participation, Nu Games has introduced a first of its kind “flash” type demo mini movie right on each Double Attack game. The demo is seen on a custom made 19” lcd monitor mounted on the game in lieu of a traditional “static” type of sign. The mini movie is played thru a small digital media player built into the monitor.
